WELCOME TO MARCAWORLD!!!

Hello and welcome to MARCAWORLD where everything MARCA will be revealed and the rumours put to rest...My new band RAVEN-BLACK EYES OF FIRE's first single"Mirrors"
has been receiving phenomenal response on MySpace http://www.myspace.com/marcasounds and single sales on Itunes,Napster,Amiestreet and the like have been exceeding expectations ... but local rock radio CHOM 97.7 here in Montreal is still not playing it...New songs have been recorded and some of them feature Michel"Away"Langevin from Voivod on drums...needless to say the tunes really
kick major ass...look for new RAVEN-BLACK EYES OF FIRE material to hit ITunes sometime this spring...Some of you have been asking me about my new radio show...well first off...my company MARCASOUNDS has been developing three different concepts...two of them for the french market here in Montreal, the third being the ultimate ROCK N' ROLL RADIO SHOW...
I'll also be interviewed by my friend and sometime collaborator Lucien Francoeur on his show
on CNV webradio:http://www.cnv.ca
Lucien and i have yet to agree on a set date but i got a feeling we should reunite via CNV
in the near future...i've also been asked to write an anecdote for an upcoming book on Lucien...
Those of you who are familiar with my SENDIVA album know that FRANCOEUR also wrote
the lyrics to Easy Writer and Dans Les Rues D'Amsterdam, we also co-wrote a bunch of songs some years ago while on the road...I have yet to record a new french song...
the last one to come out was À L'Infini and that was around 2003 when i was hosting a great
radio show called LE ROCKLUNCH over at COOL 98.5 in Montreal...
I'd like to record Vie D'Héro, a song Lucien and i wrote many a moon ago in a hotel room somewhere in Gaspé or was it Chicoutimi?
My friend Rob Langlois who plays with Quebec pop sensation Marie-mai has been trying to get together with me since forever to try and give it a shot at penning songs together...but everytime he's in town i'm out somewhere playing with people or recording in Toronto...or he's out on the road.
Astrid Young and i have also yet to record a duet together...check-out her stellar material at
http://www.myspace.com/astridyoung and her book Being Young is a great read if you're a
Neil Young fan ...
One last thing before i retreat to my quarters, i want to make clear that contrary to rumours
i'm still sober...going on 13 years... in great health and happy as a pig in shit.
