Glad to report that some radio stations have added the new single "A Survival Serenade"

to their playlists , the french version "Les Tyrans" will also be sent out to various stations out in France!!!The premiere happened a few days ago on RADIOROCKCAFE.COM, an internet radio

station that has been supporting RAVEN-BLACK EYES OF FIRE since day one...

Just got back from an interview (pre-tape) with Ben and Mike B from RADIOROCKCAFE.COM

We talked for over an hour and the whole interview was in french...

Michel "Away" Langevin....all the guitars,bass,and vocals were performed and produced by RAVEN-BLACK EYES OF FIRE leader Marc Arseno a.k.a. MARCA...with Alex Crow behind the

board...

Mixing and mastering was executed by a wizard named Glen Robinson who's worked with KEITH RICHARDS,

THE RAMONES, VOIVOD and many others...

RAVEN-BLACK EYES OF FIRE BACK IN THE STUDIO

I've spent the last few days listening to the tracks i've recorded with AWAY from VOIVOD

back in 2007 and there's a ton of great stuff in the MARCASOUNDS vaults...going thru the

takes and listening to all of them was pure bliss...

Just to set the record straight...Michel and i have laid down several different takes of four

RAVEN-BLACK EYES OF FIRE tunes at Apollo studio in Montreal back in 2007,with Alex Crow

behind the board and supervising the session,

"A Survival Serenade" is one of them.

Back in 2007 i had recorded the "scratch" guitar live in the studio with AWAY and then

a killer bass line over that very same take.

Michel hasn't heard the finished track yet simply because i hadn't touched it in three years!lol!

I'll be going back into the studio on Thursday to put the finishing touches on the song...

Vocals and guitars before Glen Robinson works his magic on the single.

We'll be mastering on the 20th and sending out the song over to radio by the end of this month.

I'm one lucky guy.
